Never Sleep Again ...

I am so excited that today I get to go and relive my nightmares by going to see A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2010! I'm going to the matinee at 10:45am, I know is that like super early or what?!
Anyway, I'm trying not to expect much because I want to love it! The 80's series of NIGHTMARE movies was great, at least the first 3 movies were great; but rest (6 movies) sucked! I'm so excited, I'll tell you how it was when I get home this afternoon. Scream at you later! AAAHHHH!!!!!

Ramble, Ramble, Ramble ...


I know I started out wanting this blog to be about being healthy and a healthy point of view. But somehow I feel like getting out everything that's on my mind at any given time would be a healthy cleanse. I mean just so long as I get out of my head, off my heart and clear my soul.
This little guy is one of the reasons I need a light heart free from stress. His name is Louis. I got him from the Wisconsin Dalmatian Rescue in April of 2009. His birthday is February 8, 2008 so that makes him just over 2 yrs old. And boy oh boy has he added more to my life, than I could ever give him. I will try to pay him back though.

Stress Relief = Fun!

A drink, a plate of food and friends = a great party and a great time! I went to a meet and greet mixer last night and I had a lot of fun. The best part about the evening was meeting new people. Normally, I'm not big on going places I'm not familiar with but I figure why not branch out and take a chance on something I haven't tried before.
So last night included an Opera House, meeting people who own and run businesses right in my community and making new friends. I met 2 restaurant owners, a club owner, furniture refurbish store owner and some everyday Joes. And at the end of the night I had 1 Vodka Cranberry and caught a little buzz; which was the icing on the cake. I had a great time and that makes for stress free living; which can ease life.

Chanting ...

I just discovered that chanting is a great way to get yourself into a zone to be able to tackle, change and realize your goals. From what I've learned you have to make this process simple and easy for yourself, so you'll enjoy the experience and continue to use it.
So, how do you do it, how does it work?
1st) decide what it is you want: "Health."
2nd) write a simple sentence about what you want, the fewest words the better: "I Enjoy Perfect Health!"
3rd) place a big smile on your face and repeat your chant to yourself for as long as you can, while enjoying the happy feelings your chant gives you.
Try it and see what it gives you. What you can give to yourself.
